Mailing List Pop Up

    Hi,

    I’m trying to create a pop-up when someone visits my website for an option to join my mailing list. From what I can gather, this is impossible if you’re using wordpress.com rather than wordpress.org. If so, I’m moving to slvrback where it seems to be possible. Any idea if this is possible?

    No, you cannot do this on wordpress.com. You have the options on a subscription widget in your sidebar or footer widget area, you can use the subscription shortcode to create a follow button in posts, and there’s a follow button on the wordpress toolbar at the top of every wp.com site. But there’s no option to add a pop-up, as no plug-ins can be installed on wordpress.com sites.
