Main Column wider than 740px?

    Hello,

    Im wondering if there is a way to make the main column on the home page wider so photos and images are larger on larger screens? I am referencing the brand images and custom bike images at the bottom of my home page.

    Hello Adam,

    Sure, we can modify the column wider, if it allows editing the css.
    But, I see your blog is in maintenance mode. Can you please let us view the page, you need help with?

    Thank you,
    Afsana

    @projectbikebend, since I can’t see your site right now, I’ve used the Radcliffe 2 demo site and let’s start with this, which widens the content area on the home page from 740px to a maximum of 1000px.

    .home .entry-content {
     max-width:1000px;
     width:100%
    }
    .home .entry-content img {
     width:100%;
    }

    It is good to keep in mind that for readability, the golden rule is that lines of text should be around 66 characters maximum (including spaces and punctuation). Longer than that, and the eye can have trouble moving from the end of one line to the beginning of the next. In its non-modified form, Radcliffe 2 has around 81 characters per line.
