Main Logo Acting Wierd

  The recommended size for my logo on my theme Crimson Rose is 400×250. I wanted a smaller image, so I went with 200×125. However, when I upload this smaller image, it mysteriously loses quality. If I upload a double size image in the retina option, the image will appear clear for a few seconds and then lose clarity. I can provide picture of ready. Currently if you visit my website the small image is uploaded so you can see it in action.
