Main menu bar

Along the main menu bar I have multiple ‘Home’, multiple ‘About’ and multiple ‘Contact’, none of which I want. I just want one ‘Home’ and one ‘About me’. How do I go about deleting the unwanted menu options. I am using the theme Quintus. (I took a screenshot but can’t see how to upload it.)

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It looks like you’re using a retired theme. I would suggest using one currently supported by WordPress.com as retired themes may break, have suboptimal SEO, and suffer other performance issues. You can try out new themes for your website using the ‘Site Manager’ and clicking ‘Themes’ under the ‘Personalize’ option. Hope this helps!

Oh, I had no idea that Quintus had been retired. I’ll try another theme. Thanks a lot.

I changed my theme but I’m still stuck with the unnecessary buttons in the main menu. Also the theme I was using, Quintus, was still available so I don’t think it has been retired.

The Quintus theme is retired to new users but as an existing user you can continue to use it if you wish by activating it at the wp-admin dashboard: https://wordpress.com/theme/quintus
I think you just need to delete the duplicate about and contact pages and/or edit your menu.

Thanks for the tip but how do I delete those buttons? I have gone into the main menu and all the options are already unchecked. Apart from via the main menu I see no way of editing them.
