Main menu in header doesn’t appear centered but shifted to the left
-
Hi, I just finished designing a new web site in WordPress.com using the ‘Radcliffe 2’ theme. It’s a rather simple design with a single menu (Main menu), located at the header. My design is for computers, not for tablets or mobile phones. There are only 5 items in the menu, so there’s plenty of room for all items to show in a single row at the top. Everything had run smoothly, but somehow now the menu doesn’t appear centered horizontally, but totally shifted to the left. What could be a reason for this and how do I correct this problem? Thank you.

Hi there,
As you can see from that theme’s demo (https://radcliffe2demo.wordpress.com/) the menu is aligned to the left. If you like to move it to the center you can do it with some CSS code. Custom CSS is a feature included in the Premium and Business plan and therefore you first need to upgrade to either plan before using it. You can read more about it here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-css/
If you decide to upgrade we can provide you with the necessary CSS code.

Thanks a lot fstat. I’ll keep that in mind.
I have one additional question, not directly related to this. How do I insert a “textbox” block, or otherwise, how do I wrap a frame around a paragraph block or several paragraph blocks?
