Main Menu items link to tags
-
Hello on my blog site, I have a question about menu items for my blog site. I designed where there is a main menu header, with individual blog posts under it.
https://billboardchartrewind.wordpress.com/
When you click on one of the header items there (90’s Edition, R&B/Hip hop edition), it goes to another page where it says Tags. I do not want to the Main menu to link to anything. I only want everything under it to point to the blog posts in that category. How do I fix this so that the main menu items don’t link to anything.
Thank you
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello
Please go to Appearance > Menus and locate the
90’s Editionmenu item and in the URL field add#https://snipboard.io/9WFTtv.jpg instead of the whole URL and retest.Let us know if that helps.

Hi there,
The reply above misses a couple of steps, so let me just fill in the blanks :)
For the
90's Editionmenu item you currently have a Tag added to the menu. You’ll need to edit the menu and remove that item completely. Then replace it with a Custom Link item, give it the label you want, and add a # symbol in the URL field.
For all your other top-level items it looks like you’re already using the Custom Link item, but make sure you check each of those and also add # to the URL field. This isn’t strictly necessary, but it will make the menu items on the site behave consistently.

Oh one more thing, can you only add published blog posts? I’m guessing that you can’t add anything that is in Draft?

Hi there,
Correct, both draft and private pages and posts will not appear in the menu.

Thanks!
