Main Menu list changing back to original font color after hovering

    Hi there…I need some help with my site:

    http://jlangloisblog.wordpress.com/

    My main menu letters are white, and when their drop-down menus are hovered, the parent title word disappears into the white background-color upon hover. I need to have the parent title be visible so have tried a few things. Text-shadow provided an outline but I didn’t like the look. Coding for background color on ‘.navigation-main a’ and ‘.navigation-main ul a’ have not worked.

    Is there a way to have the background color for just the main menu parent title go back to the original main menu color (#f79642) when its drop down menu is hovered? Or alternatively, to have the font color stay orange after being hovered? I do want to keep the white background on hover for the drop-down menu.

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Hi there, find the following rule in your existing custom CSS
    .navigation-main li:hover > a
    and add a color declaration with your orange color such as below.
    color: #F79642;

    Worked like a charm…and so simple!

    Thanks again for quick and expert advice.
