Main menu not displaying correctly

    I created a menu that has sub menus and sub sub menus. The menu appears in the exact order I want when I look at the menu by going to Appearance > Menus. When I am in the block editor, I see the menu displaying correctly. When I update the page and preview the changes, the menu that I see is scattered everywhere and not what I want at all. Somehow the sub menus are displaying as top level menu items, but not all of them are doing that.

    Also, when I update the page or mess with the menu, it saves another draft of the menu so now I have about 20 variations of the same menu available in the block editor and I don’t know how to delete them. I only created two menus: a social media menu and my primary menu.

    I’ve tried deleting the entire menu and creating it again from scratch, but that didn’t fix anything. I also tried recreating the menu using the navigation block, but that didn’t work either. For some added information, I used a header pattern that had a menu in it already. All my pages have the same header pattern, but none of the menus are the same.
