  I am wanting to make one of my pages my main page that comes up automatically when someone goes to my blog site. How do I do this?

  Go to

  Options > Reading

  and you can set your front page display as post page or static page.

  If you move the front page of your blog from the one with blog posts, your attractiveness towards search engines goes way down. But it’s not hard to do. Go to Dashboard –> Options –> General and set it there. Note that the page must already exist before you can set it to the front page.
