Main page
-
I found a web site that is made using WordPress and who main page (sorry if that’s not what it’s called) has short excerpts from posts he made in different categories. Then you click on the post title to go to the full post.
I don’t know if he is using WordPress.com or WordPress.org, but suspect it may be .org.
Does anybody know of a way for a rookie to do something like this on WordPress.com? Or is it something that is exclusive to .org? Or worse yet, something you have to know HTML & CSS type stuff to do?
The web site I’m referring to is http://dottech.org/
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That site ( http://dottech.org/ ) is a self-hosted blog using wordpress.org software.
You can do something similar using the more tag:

That looks like what I wanted to find!
Thank You so very much 1tess!!!
I’m off to give it a try. :-)

It worked! That’s what I wanted to do.
Of course it got me thinking about other things that I should try to do to improve the blog. I feel a late night coming on. :-)
Thank you again!
