main page and archives presentation

  hi all, thanks in advance for any help.
  i want to display only one post on the main page (options – reading – show one post at most). problem starts when i checked my archives: as i have more than 1 post per month, only the last one gets displayed. how can i separate showing one post on the homepage but all posts on the archives/months pages? thank you!

  You cannot. All post-associated pages are ruled by that setting as far as I can tell.

  hmmm… that means i can’t even separate the number of posts on different pages of the same blog? that’s a limitation blogger didn’t have…
