    I cannot get to my main page of blog. I get this redirect link:

    I have already emptied cache etc. I can still get to my dashboard; and was able to complete a recent post. But cannot get to main page. HELP!!! Thank you ~~

  • I can load your front page just fine without being redirected, so my first instinct would still be that it is a browser issue on your side. Try using a different browser, and also try viewing the site using your regular browser, but while logged out of WordPress. Let me know if either of those options work.

    And you mention you’ve “emptied cache etc.” but did that include clearing the cookies? Try that as well if you haven’t yet.

    Thank you for suggestions. Yes, I have cleared all history, including cookies; logged out and back in. Original problem occurred Monday evening. It was clear yesterday (Tuesday), and I thought: “Yea, it’s fixed”. Now, today (Wednesday afternoon) I am back to same message. I have access to the dashboard and other pages, but not “home”. As long as my readers can find me — that is the main concern.

  • That’s really strange. Let me tag this for staff to follow up in case they have any idea what could be causing this. Please be patient while waiting for their response.

    I’m sorry for the trouble. I’ve heard some people report this issue at various websites (WordPress.com and others) if they are using AT&T U-verse. In those cases, one of the following often fixes it:

    If you are using AT&T U-verse, you may also want to contact them for more help with the issue. Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

    2 weeks out of the month – I

      AM

    using AT&T U-verse (which happens to be now!) … I’ve cleared browser’s cache and cookies, followed the link and instructions to flushing DNS cache. Neither of those helped. Tomorrow I will try reinstalling browser. I’ll be back to report.

    I just read about switching to Google Public DNS; it sounds daunting!!

    I am now back in TX, and no longer under AT&T Uverse. I still cannot access the front page of my blog.
