Main page shows up jumbled in Explorer on Windows 7

    Hi,
    I am re-opening a topic from April that hasn’t been resolved yet –

    The problem is as follows:
    I have a bilingual blog on Twenty Twelve. When I access it with IE11 on W7 the blog’s main page gets jumbled… Please see a screenshot in the blog’s media library – filename “Blog Main Page on W7-IE11.PNG”.
    This doesn’t happen with Chrome on W7.

    Now Explorer and Windows 7 are still a pretty mainstream configuration so it would be great if you could make it work.

    Hello Amir,

    I checked and the bug report on this issue is still open, meaning our developers are still busy with it. I’m not able to give you a timeline on when it will be fixed at this time, but I’ve asked one of our developers. I’ll let you know if they give me any indication.

    Okay, it seems there was some trouble finding the exact cause – this only appears to happen if your site is set to a RTL language and your computer is set to a LTR language. If most of your readers have their computers set to RTL languages, they wouldn’t have noticed this issue.

    Now that we’ve narrowed this down we should be able to fix it.
