Main site and blog in the same directory

    Hello,
    i have a website http://www.domain.com.
    Later i purchased a blog from prophoto.com and the installators from the company, installed it at http://www.domain.com/blog installing also the wordpress.
    A few months later, i decide to switch and my main website also to wordpress, so i purchase a theme from theme forest.
    But i also installed it at http://www.domain.com/blog, using the old wordpress installation.
    This theme was coming also with a blog and for a few months i was using this blog, instead my old one.
    Now, my problem is that i need to use the old blog, the prophoto. But in the same directory, (www.domain.com/blog), there are all together.
    The tech support from the prophoto blog company, has told me that they are able to fix this, but they will do a fresh blog and wordpress installation, so all the posts and settings will be lost.
    The problem is that the prophoto blog, is coming also with a website, so when i activate it, it also changing and my main site, because they all are in the same directory.
    Is there any other way, in order not to loose my posts?
