Maintain Google Ranking when switching to wordpress.com

  Hi: I am new here and though this may seem like a very simple question, I would appreciate your expertise. I currently own a domain hosted at 1and1.com. I want to bring this domain over to wordpress.com. If I do so, I’d like to confirm that I would be able to map our current RRI urls to the new site and maintain our google rankings.

  If yes, can you please direct me on how to do this?

  Yes, you can map your existing domain here. Take a look at this support document on mapping an existing domain.

  Thank you for your response. I know I can map the domain there (and how to do it ) but my question is – If I do so, I’d like to confirm that I would be able to map our current urls to the new site and maintain our google rankings. What instructions do I need to maintain the Google rankings?
