  I need several weeks to fix the pages and contents of my blog. During the maintenance, I don’t want the public to see the changes until I’m ready. What can I do?

  You can set your blog to private so it’s no longer visible to anyone. Go to Settings > Reading and tick the box next to “I would like my site to be private, visible only to myself and users I choose”. Then click “Save Changes” at the bottom.
