How can I put my sit ein Maintenance Mode?

  Hi there,

  I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to put my site into Maintenance mode as I am receiving some traffic to the site yet it needs some patch work too it. From what I have gathered I need a plugin which needs to be on a .org site. Fair enough. But there should at least be a way for us users who can’t quite afford a paid site to work on our site without getting traffic, or a custom message when the site is made private.

  You can easily set your site as “Private” at Settings > Privacy in your Dashboard. See this page for more information about the privacy settings.
