Maisha trouble setting up theme

    I am trying to set up this theme on my blog account. I am trying to set up a static main page so that I can have the top content block along with the other content blocks. I have followed the setup instructions METICULOUSLY and it does not work. I am not getting the top content block or any content block to appear how it does in the preview. Please help and PLEASE do not give me the link to the setup instructions because I have already gone through those.
