There is no domain mapping upgrade for freelateststuff.com. If you would like to use this domain you will first need to set up domain mapping.

    re: mapping an existing domain
WordPress.com does not accept domain transfers but mapping an existing domain is possible.

If you have registered a .wordpress.com blog you log in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the WordPress.COM blog, and as you own a domain URL already, you can see here for mapping an existing domain. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

Domain mapping of an existing domain URL that you already own and purchased elsewhere is not done free of charge. You will have to renew the domain name purchase where you made, it and the domain mapping purchase here, each and every year.

Mapping an existing domain costs $13. annually and a domain name purchase and domain mapping are included in the Premium upgrade bundle.

In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com sub-domain blog to map from and it does not matter what that underlying .wordpress.com URL is. It does not have to match the domain URL. If you do not register a .wordpress.com blog URL first then the software supplies the dot whatever URL so you can proceed with your domain mapping purchase.

    See https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/

Your billing history will be at Dashboard > Store > Billing History
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/billing-history/

Your only options for payment are found here http://en.support.wordpress.com/payment/

It can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.

  • Hi there,

I see a reported error under your account in regards to a failed domain registration with us.

From what I see, you registered the domain freelateststuff.com with Heart Internet and then attempted to register it to WordPress.com shortly after. Our system couldn’t yet see the domain as registered elsewhere and so attempted to ‘register’ it. That is why we received the error. So even though your registration purchase came through with us, once the error reported that the domain was registered somewhere else, we automatically issued a refund.

So, if you want to use your domain with your WordPress.com blog, you’ll need to log into your account with Heart Internet and change the nameservers to point over to us. Then, you’ll need to purchase the domain mapping upgrade. Our nameservers:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

For full information on mapping your domain to WordPress.com, please visit our support page:

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

But that is impossible! I have made no account with Heart Internet, The domain was definatly available, I check on many sites that it was available, it is Impossible that it was taken before I applied for it with WordPress.com .. I Really need that Domain, It has a lot of Value to me, That’s why I picked that exact domain! it is impossible that it was registered with heart Internet First,

  • Unknown's avatar

The only possibility is that you guys messed up and it got registered by Someone else AFTER I registered it, Which according to your domain agreement is you guys issue, I Registered the domain FreeLateststuff.com with WordPress.com (nobody else) it was 100% Available at the time, I was checking on a daily basis before I purchased the domain, and it was defiantly Available, The only Mistake Possible is on your End, and either I need the Domain or it has to be compensated in some way because your breaking the Contract we agreed when I purchased the domain, the domain was available and I have never used heart Internet

  • Unknown's avatar

I need that domain .. it is my business .. another domain is not useful .. I purchased the domain .. it was available .. you cannot simply tell me that it was Registered else where or by someone else BEFORE I registered it .. its impossible .. it was showing up as available everywhere on the Internet .. Then I registered it with you guys and I got my Receipt .. I feel as if you guys have stole the domain and I have a Receipt and am willing to take this as far as court, you are breaking the Domain Contract

How can I purchase an AVAILABLE domain and then a week Later get a refund and be told someone else owns it? That’s impossible unless you guys stole the domain ..

  • Hi there,

If Heart Internet doesn’t sound familiar, does Domainbox? Based off of the whois information here, freelateststuff.com was registered on 1/13/16 with Domainbox and is currently pointed to Heart Internet.

Then, you registered the domain with WordPress.com (at 2016-01-13 15:44:20) before the registration with Domainbox was fully processed and updated. The domain processed on our end, but within 3 seconds of processing the domain, we received the error notification that it was already registered with Domainbox – which is why we issued you the refund.

The Whois information is private, so we cannot determine who owns the domain. But, the same domain was registered within minutes of each other on the same day in the same country (UK) – so that is why we gathered you were the one who registered the domain at both places. It could be coincidental, but that would be very unusual.

Double registration happens occasionally and it usually happens when the same individual tries to register the same domain at two different registrars in a short time span. If you did not register the domain with Domainbox, is it possible that a business associate or friend/family member registered the domain? Otherwise, this is indeed an unusual circumstance.

I would try to contact Domainbox and see if you can find any information on the domain. They are the current registrar of the domain. There is unfortunately nothing we can do. The domain was never registered with us.

I feel as if you guys have stole the domain and I have a Receipt and am willing to take this as far as court, you are breaking the Domain Contract

Here is our legal agreement per the Terms of Service, Section 4g – Account Modification or Termination:

We expressly reserve the right to deny, cancel, terminate, suspend, lock, or modify access to (or control of) any Services for any reason (as determined in our sole and absolute discretion), including but not limited to the following: (i) to correct mistakes made by us in offering or delivering any Services including any domain name registration,

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks!

but that is almost impossible as I am very sure I did not try and register the domain elsewhere .. it doesn't make sense how I can have a registered a domain and you guys then refund me for the domain and tell me it was registered elsewhere on the exact same day .. it sounds like a stolen domain name and to be fair the chances of someone else registering the same domain that space apart is a million to one .. I don't believe it to be a coinceidence

  • Hi there,

the chances of someone else registering the same domain that space apart is a million to one .. I don’t believe it to be a coinceidence

I totally agree – which is why I would recommend contacting Domainbox and see if they can provide any information regarding the domain. They currently are the registrar of the domain.

    Thanks!

okay , Such as? because I am 100% certain that nobody knew I was planning to acquire that domain .. I haven’t even discussed my business idea with one person .. so the only possibility is wordpress making a mistake or wordpress stealing the domain.

  • Hi there,

We didn’t steal the domain because we are currently not in possession of the domain. Domainbox is the current registrar. Again, there is nothing we can do since we are not the registrar. If you want to possibly get your domain back, contacting Domainbox is the best route.
