Major layout error on firefox

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi there – my blog (www.wesothrifty.wordpress.com) it supposed to have an all-white background. It works just fine on Safari, and some versions of firefox, but readers have commented on an error in some versions of firefox. The post background is appearing charcoal gray, making it impossible to read any of the text. Please help! Many thanks.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m using the most recent stable version of Firefox ie. Firefox 11 and I’m well acquainted with the theme you are using on the blog linked to your username. Is that the blog in question? If it is I don’t see what you see ata ll. I see a normal display of the Chateau theme with a white background. I suggest your visitors upgrade their Firefox browsers here http://browsehappy.com

Hi there – it’s very bizarre. On my home computer, I have an updated edition of firefox as well, and the charcoal background appears. On my work computer, I have an updated edition too, and the site appears just as it should. I’m glad it seems to be a minority of users encountering the issue. I’m just befuddled as to how to address it.

Bizarre is indeed the word for this and I don’t have a clue how to assist you. Hopefully, Staff or another Volunteer will be able to.

  • Yes, I don’t see the issue either. Would you please verify that you are running Firefox 11 at home?
