    Hosted by a third-party however login is via DominaName/wp-login.php.

    Both my email and username are not sending a notification to my email.

    Is it possible my IT administrator set the reset to their email address instead?

    I actually cannot reset my blog password…super sigh.

    Any assistance would be really appreciated.

    We cannot help you here with that site. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and you are posting to the wrong support forum.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

    erynbillings,

    You might check to see if you saved the original e-mail notification you should have received when your blog was first set up. That may contain the password for the default “admin” account.

    If you have access to the MySQL database that WordPress uses, you can reset the password by directly editing the database. That may be beyond your skill level, however, if you aren’t familiar with SQL. Your web host may be able to do that for you but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

    Good luck,
    -Jeremy

    @jlgaddis
    Please do not tailgate me into threads and post anything at all that applies to any WordPress.ORG site. About 30% of those who post here some days are from WordPress.ORG and we do not provide support for their sites. That’s not because we don’t have the answers. It’s because we want them to use the correct support forums and not return here over and over and bring their WordPress.ORG buddies with them when they do.

    If you want to provide WordPress.ORG support then please do it over here http://wordpress.ORG/support/
