Make a partiular page home / default

    As you will see so Far I have Blog entries but no pages as such. So far I feel that I am doing fine. At least I am achieving the results I need so far apart from.
    one of my pages is the actual subject of the whole blog. It is this page that I want to promote as my home page.
    I am happy for people to be able to go back and forward as i add new entries but I need the default home page to be the entry marked Microsoft Windows 7 Deployment Proof Of Concept PoC Plus for the 4th june.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    On your admin page you can go to Settings > Reading and select a static page to display as the home page for your blog. However you can’t do this with a specific post. Some themes allow you to specify a featured post that will appear above all the others regarless of how recent it is, so that might be worth looking into.

    You could also set that post as a sticky post and it would appear always at the top of the list of posts on the main page.

    I have taken the sticky post option. I did look for it, before i posted, honest i did, but did not find it. Found it now thanks.
