Make a profile for private site users only.

  Make profile visible only to private site users.

  I’d like to create a profile with private information such as name and photo, but have it visible ONLY to users of this specific private site. Adding that information to the member profile makes it visible to everyone, there doesn’t seem to be a way to turn it off for things like help forums, email, etc.

  Please advise?

  All WordPress.com user accounts are the same. However, you are welcome to create a new free account at any time using a new username that does not reference you or your business/activities, and add only the information you wish to share publicly, if any, to your WordPress.com/Gravatar profile.

  If you then only use that profile to administer private websites on WordPress.com and do not post in the forums using that username, no one will likely ever find it and should not be able to trace it back to you.

  If those options aren’t sufficient, you might consider setting up a self-hosted private WordPress site using the software available at WordPress.org and hosted on a provider of your choice.
