Make An Exception With Disqus

    Dear WordPress Staff and Community,

We meet once again and I’m thankful for all the help received over the years. We are indeed a special, special community.

I was suggested to make an idea to your engineers, and I’m sure I’m speaking for all of us WordPress.com users when I say that we would love to see Disqus be incorporated with WordPress.com (just like any other plugin like Twitter and the others).

It makes commenting on posts a breeze and doesn’t require one to have a WordPress.com account.

Promise that’s all I want for this holiday season :) Please hear us out on this one and let’s get it done!

    Cheers
    Ngawang

That is not going to happen. See here for the many other threads https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/disqus dating back to 6 years ago.
Also note that some of us bloggers dislike Disqus.

Also, if you have your discussion settings set correctly, nobody needs a WP.com account to comment on your blog in the first place.

    And Disqus got hacked.

Just my 2 cents on the topic:

I also would like to offer and use Disqus for commenting on my blog http://nzillatron.wordpress.com/
As a user I prefer commenting via Disqus.

@timethief: As long as there is an option to select which comment system to use, this should be no problem.
