Make blog visible to all…public
-
This is the very first blog I have ever done and I am not the most tech-savvy person. How do I know if the blog is available to everyone? I attempted to google the title and it didn’t come up. Is that a good indicator that the blog is not available to all/public? I also do not Facebook for personal reasons or participate in any other type of social networking (for which I take quite a bit of flack for), so the usual comment is that it would make it so much easier for these many reasons. I don’t have much time so I’ll just be emailing the link out to people, but I’m sure there is a better way. Little help please…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The blog is visible to everyone. You can see your privacy settings in Settings -> Reading -> Site Visibility. If you want it to become private, which means only people who you invite (through Users -> Add Users) and yourself will be able to see the blog, and Google won’t link to it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
If your blog is new, it won’t show up in Google for a number of weeks/months, as it takes time for Google to ‘notice’ your blog, and start putting it into the results. If you want it to come up, then just keep publishing good, unique, content.
