Make entire website full width?
-
Hi there,
My site is https://makethemove.ie and I want to make the header/logo and menu and front page content/picture stretch full width (i.e. where the peach color background area appears) so I can make the website appear full width and change the background color to white for other widgets/footers.
Is there CSS that can help with this?

Thanks for writing to us. I can see your site is set up on our business plan. That entitles you to priority live chat support 7 days per week. You can get started with live chat support via wordpress.com/help/contact/ It’s going to be the quickest way to get help.
Of course, we are happy to help here as well – it just takes a bit longer since forums are asynchronous by nature.
In general you can use CSS to make changes as you’ve described. My concern, is that by editing the theme so drastically you’re going to also have to add CSS to fix smaller screen views (think phones, tablets, etc….)
