Make Featured Images Responsive

  I’m using the Twenty Seventeen Theme and am having issues with featured photos being responsive. Mobile and Tablet appear to work fine, but desktop browsers show cropped photos at varying effects dependent on size of browser. How to I customize to show full image regardless of size of browser?

  This is wordpress.COM support and that site is not on our servers. We do not provide support for local installs of wordpress.ORG software, or for wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.
