Make front page images/gallery unclickable

    Hi folks. Here’s my site.

As you can see, I have a gallery of front page images. I’d like to make these “unclickable”, so that only the menu on the front page is interactive.

I have look for the “link url”/none option in my media gallery, and I can find it. Similarly, marking the gallery as linking to “none” as opposed to attachment page or media, hasn’t helped.

Am I missing something REALLY simple here?? I thank you in advance for any assistance you can give me.

There’s been an ongoing discussion about the “none” link option in the Gallery feature as it doesn’t really seem to work any longer (and it seemed to work only for a brief period of time initially).

Currently the only way you would be able to achieve what you want to do is by not using the Gallery feature and uploading and inserting images individually and then link those to “none” (this does work for individual images). Of course you would lose the square cropping the Gallery feature provides, but you could crop them yourself before uploading.

I should also point out that linking to none does apparently work if you are using the “Thumbnail Grid” style of Gallery. It’s only with the Mosaic Gallery types (Tiled Mosaic, Square Tiles and Circles) that it doesn’t work.
