Make it Easier to Link to Other Posts

I think a useful feature you guys could add to wp.com is the ability to link to other posts within your blog. When I’m posting, I often link to other posts, and every time I have to go to my blog, search for it, find the link, etc. I think it’d be helpful if you added a little button in the dashboard of the New Post page, which would allow me to select a post and hyperlink text linking to that post. Just saying, other people would probably find it useful too.

Hi, I miss having an automated “Related posts” feature that fetches posts from your blog too.
Until they do give us this privilege, you might like to try out the method I have been using whenever I need to show “Related posts”. See here for the tutorial and an example:How to easily create Related posts for wordpress.com blog posts
It’s not totally automated, but it makes copy-pasting the post title and linking to the post url – and fetching the related posts I need – a lot easier under the present circumstances.

You can always set your Zemanta settings to choose from just your personal posts. This allows you to include several blogs, if you blog in more than one place.

That sounds so convenient, easy and fast. :)
But um… I can’t figure out how to allow Zemanta to choose links from MY own blog only. Can you please take the time to post the link that has the instructions?

I don’t think there is one. I have Zemanta installed in my browser, and when I write a post it comes up on the right-hand side in the sidebar. There are two tabs: Recommendations and My Sources. You can edit Sources once you’ve got some content. There’s also the wrench icon, which opens Preferences and you can edit them there.
I should write some Zemanta posts. I’ve been using it for months and it is the shizznit. I once had an issue and posted in their forum and the VP of Technology replied to me within five minutes.
