make it possible to specify "float" and size of inline-image

When Inserting an image in the “new and improved” editor in a classic block, I can choose an image from my “library” but I cannot – as I used to be able to do – specify a float value (none, left, center, or right) and size.

Previously I was able to choose from WP selected sizes. Full, large, medium, thumbnail.

To accomplish this today, I must insert the image, go into code-edit mode, add a style section for float, change the existing style (which is apparently stuck on thumbnail) to width=”X%” and exit code-edit mode.

Because YOU hate code-edit mode and I cannot do everything I need to do in that state. Even though I lived in the “edit HTML” state in the true classic editor.

Oh, and in case you don’t get the hint. Your new editor sucks like a Hoover.

I would make this a support question but I know – after decades of work with developers – they never admit that design flaws are anything but features

  • @zendodeb I’m sorry, for some reason I can’t see your reply here. I saw this thread was closed and I wanted to respond.

You should be able to change the alignment (float) of the image as well as its size, like this:

Are you having trouble with that?
