Make list of Recent Posts scrollable
-
I have a blog, and it has a list of Recent Posts. I know how to make the list longer, but that’s not good enough. I want to make it scrollable. Is this possible, and if so, how?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
I’m not sure I understand what this would look like. Could you share some more details on how you envision this?
I also noticed you’ve reached out to us via email; feel free to keep in touch with us there. -
Hi folks,
If I understand correctly, @hotmoccasin would like to create a scroll box to display the recent posts that are presently displayed under a widget titled “Scratchings” in the sidebar widget area of their site. Please correct me if I’ve misunderstood.
The scroll box code suggested by @1tess in the 2011 forum topic How can I add a text scroll box to my sidebar?, and by staff member @thesacredpath in the 2013 topic Make a Scroll Box in a WordPress is still a viable option.
I successfully tested the recommended HTML scroll box code in a page, using the WP-Admin editor, but it will presumably also work in a widget area if inserted into a Paragraph Block (HTML mode), a Custom HTML Block, or (if available on your site) a Legacy Text Widget.

I wasn’t able to get the code to even be entered into a Paragraph Block, though my lack of experience with this block might be factor. However, it did work when inserted into the Classic Block (HTML mode) and the Custom HTML block.
