Good morning –
Thanks for getting in touch. Looking at the account I can see that you’ve already added your hosting plan. That’s the first step. Good job.
It sounds like you need to connect the domain to your account. If the domain is 60 days+ in age, my suggestion is to transfer it in to WordPress.com. Then your hosting and your domain registration are all being handled in one space. If the domain isn’t eligible for a transfer, it’s not a big deal. You’ll just connect it through mapping instead.
This page highlights the pros/cons of each option: https://wordpress.com/support/domain-connection-vs-domain-transfer/
If you’re not sure where the domain is registered, or can’t find the instructions to access the DNS records just write back here with the domain. Our team can look that information up for you to help smooth things along. -
Ack. I forgot to mention about the theme. Can you tell me what functions and features of Divi are integral to the project? When clicking on My Sites > Appearance > Themes you’ll be able to search that catalogue by features. Divi is not included in our catalogue there.
However, the business level hosting plan that you’ve purchased does allow you to use custom themes, like Divi. If you’re new to websites then I’d suggest sticking with a standard option because our team will handle all the updates, support, and even mobile optimization for that theme.
