Make my site private

  Hello! I would like for my WordPress not to appear in Google searches of my name. Is there a way I can make my WordPress private so that I can revisit it, but no one else can see it? Otherwise I fear I will need to delete it. Let me know, thank you!

  Hi there,

  Yes this is an option! You can set your site to “Private” by following the steps here, so only you can see it. https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/

  Please note that it will take Google a little whiles (4 weeks or so) to remove your site from search results, so it may still show up on their end a little longer, but any links to your site would be private, so no one could visit them
