Make pages private, but posts public

    Hi there,
    I was wondering if there is a way to make my main blog public, but make all the pages private, so if someone clicks on a link to the page they are prompted to login, or are able to request access.

    I’m happy to change settings on each page manually, but right now if I mark pages as ‘private’ then the links to them disappear, even if I am logged in and am an administrator. I’d like the links to show if you are logged in.

    Do you really mean “pages” or do you mean “individual blog posts” because Pages and Posts are different.
