Make private blog and its attachments searchable

  Hey there,

  here’s what I would like to do, sort of as a private knowledge base, not sure if possible:

  – have a small private blog with attachments (jpeg, pdf, doc)
  – the blog and the attachments should be searchable as full text

  I don’t believe that “the attachments should be searchable as full text” is possible. It seems to me that if you block search engines from entry into a private blog then they cannot index the contents and there will be no return of them in the SERPs. However, you will need to confirm with Staff wther or not I’m correct. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
