    Hi Anna!

    I can see you’ve used the custom CSS provided by the Business Identity theme to reduce the size of your logo on benecareuk.wordpress.com:
    https://businessidentitydemo.wordpress.com/docs/site-logo/

    To further customise this, and change the alignment of your logo so that it matches up with your site’s title, you can use the following snippet:

    .site-title a span:first-child {
    float: left;
    top: 0;
    margin-right: 10px
    }

    Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any extra questions.

    That’s brilliant – just tried it and it works. I have got another question if you don’t mind, can I change the colour (and make the border thicker) on the ‘call to action’ button on the home page?

    Thanks

    Absolutely. :) The CSS snippet you need to change the call to action button is as follows:

    .special-offer .call-to-action {
    border-width: 2px;
    background: #555;
    }

    You can increase or decrease the value of border-width as you wish.

    The value given for the background, #555, is a random HEX code that I chose. You can change this with the corresponding HEX code for any colour of your choice. There’s a great many resources available on the web to help you determine the HEX code for the colour you want, for example:
    http://www.color-hex.com/

    Let me know if you’d like any help with this. :)

    Hi there.

    The Find Out More button on your homepage is showing up differently for me now, here’s a screenshot of what I see:
    https://cloudup.com/ckzpL3f0qgz

    Is this the button you were trying to change? If not, could you point me in the direction of the right button? I’ll then be able to help you change the existing CSS. Thank you!

    Hi – sorry I meant the button near the top that is over the image – the ‘quality healthcare products’ one. Sorry I should have explained it a bit more clearly

    Thanks

    Hi there.

    Sorry for misunderstanding! To change the ‘quality healthcare products’ button, we can change the original CSS snippet I gave to the following:

    #hero .call-to-action {
    border-width: 2px;
    background: #555;
    }

    You’ll notice that the selector changes from .special-offer .call-to-action to #hero .call-to-action. If you’d like all of these buttons to look the same then can just use .call-to-action in place of those options.

    Hei Siobhyb can i ask you a question as well?

    I need help with the following blog:
    https://brigitteotto.wordpress.com/

    I would like to change the logo size to the full size,
    but when i add the following css:

    .site-logo {
    width: 782px;
    }

    The resolution stays at 300px.

    Thanks for your Help in advance.

    @brigitteotto, when I click on the link you provided, it redirects to http://brigitteotto.com, which does not show a WordPress.com site, but instead a NetZone Internet Services page. Are you self-hosting a WordPress site now? In your account, it is not showing the WordPress.com nameservers associated with your domain name.

    Hi thesacredpath, i changed the Nameservers on the Netzone page, i hope it just needs some time to change? It’s been around 48h

    @tobiasbrunnerski, I’m still not seeing your site, and domain tools is still reporting the following nameserver settings for your domain:

    Name Server: ns2.netzone.ch
    Name Server: ns3.netzone.ch
    Name Server: ns1.netzone.ch

    I would suggest going back into your domain management at NetZone and check on things. If you can’t get them to update, perhaps contact their tech support.

    Currently on your site, I am seeing the standard text based site title with a “B” logo to the left of it, which is 48px x 48px. Did you have a different site logo before this or are you wanting the site title and the “B” logo full-width?

    If you want the “B” logo larger, it will probably be best to approach this strictly in the CSS instead.
