Make social media icons disappear

  Hello,
  as a beginner, I try to learn if and how I can make the social media icons on the start page sidebar disappear. I do not want to mislead readers or followers to any media, which I don’t work with. Thanks for your support. Status: basic version, not upgraded.

  Go to your Custom Menus and on the Social Links Menu select the –Select a Menu– option from the drop list. Click on the Save Changes button and the social icons will disappear.
