make sticky posts sticky on any timeline

  Hello

  it would be great if sticky posts could be extended to posts streamed under a particular category. e.g. a category for Cat Shows might hold a sticky post under that heading, not just under the main page for blog posts. At the moment this does not happen: sticky posts are only ‘sticky’ under the main home blog page.
