Hi there, for readability, the golden rule is that lines of text should be around 66 characters maximum (including spaces and punctuation. Longer than that, and the eye can have trouble moving from the end of one line to the beginning of the next. Currently, the content area of your site has around 97 characters per line maximum, so I would not suggest widening the content area.
If you wish to give widening your content area a try, go to Customize > CSS, delete all the informational text in that window, and paste in the following custom CSS.
@media screen and (min-width: 1200px) { .container { max-width: 1150px; width: 100% } } @media screen and (min-width: 992px) { #secondary.col-lg-offset-1 { margin-left: 2%; float: right; } #primary.col-lg-8 { width: 73% } } -
Hi Fatima –
Thanks for getting in touch :)
The Olsen theme does support full width page templates. Take a look at those instructions in the setup guide: https://wordpress.com/theme/olsen
Click on My Sites > Pages > 3 dots to the right of page title > Edit Page > Find Page options on right and click there.
There’s also a specific forum for this theme that you can look through at any time for tips and advice on various subjects. https://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/olsen
