Make thumbnail photos larger & bring bottow widget area to side

    How do I englarge my photos on the homepage?
    also
    Is it possible to bring the widgets to the side of my blog instead of at the bottom?

    Hi there!

    Argent is a single column theme, with specifically sized thumbnails on the blog page – two things that are controlled directly in the theme’s code :)

    You may want to look into some alternate themes that use featured images, and have two columns (this list may help). Lovecraft comes to mind, that one uses nice large featured images for posts on the home page :)

    Be sure to double check the demos of the themes before making your final selection – different themes use images in different ways, and some of them may not put the thumbnail on the home page at all. If you ever have a question about a specific theme, you can always open up a thread to ask about it here in the forums :)
