Make “W” link to wordpress.com

  Why doesn’t the “W” emblem in the upper left hand corner link to WordPress.com? It throws me off that I have to go to the bottom of the “My Account” drop down menu to get there. As the WordPress homepage, shouldn’t it have a more prominent link? The W seems so natural for that that I’m surprised you haven’t done that.

  The design of the admin bar in WordPress.com wasn’t really changed when we upgraded to 2.7 on the system. The intention design-wise was to do some work with the admin bar, and in the original thinking, the W in your admin tool would have liked back to WordPress.com. This may be incorporated in the future, but for now we’re just seeing how people are working with the new admin panels to see what works well and what needs improvement. Happily, people mostly seem to doing pretty well. Thanks for the suggestion.

  Yes please. Maybe the W could be moved to the other side so that people don’t get confused.
