Make Welcome Page Box Smaller

  Is there a way to make this white box with text on my site small? We don’t have content to fill it completely and would like it to be smaller like the example shows.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi, yes it is on the home page (or welcome page as we have called it). It is the box containing the following text:
  WELCOME
  INCREASE TRAFFIC…etc
  There is a picture right behind it. We would like to reduce the size of this box. I know the text added has made it longer, but we’d like the width to be smaller like the theme template shows.

  @indianagolfadvertising can you head to wordpress.com/pages and edit your Welcome page? You can make the text there smaller, remove the space above it, etc. The white box will fit whatever you put in it.

  Noting too, when you’re logged in, you’ll see an edit button — which does take up extra white space. Your site viewers will not see that.

  Noting too, you can just click that edit link to change the text, too :)
