Making 1 page a blog
-
I want to make my Articles page into a blog that I can add new articles into. Right now, it’s set up like a standard page. And the content I currently have on that page isn’t showing up at all.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
I’m seeing that your static front page settings are configured correctly under Settings > Reading, so you’re all good there. :)
However, note that once you’ve specified a page for your articles to go to (in your case, the Articles page), that page needs to be empty of other content since it will *only* display your posts.
So I think you’ll need to edit your Articles page here:
https://elitedocumentationdotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=9&action=edit
Remove all the content from there and paste it somewhere else (maybe to another page). After that, new posts to your site will show on the Articles page.
Or perhaps you meant to publish the content currently in the Articles page as a post?
If so, you can publish posts under Posts > Add New in the menu. So to move the content from Articles to a post, simply cut it (not copy) and paste it into a new post. :) It will then show on the Articles page.
You can read more about the differences between posts and pages here:
Let me know if you get stuck and I’d be happy to lend a hand. :) Thanks!

You can disable comments on pages, but you’ll have to do it one by one.
For example, to disable comments on the Home page:
1) Edit the page here:
https://elitedocumentationdotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1&action=edit
2) Enable the Discussion module (if it isn’t already) by following these instructions:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/#missing-discussion-module
3) Disable comments, trackbacks, and pingbacks using this guide:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/#enabledisable-comments
Do that for each page on your site and no one will be able to comment on your pages again. :)

Again, I appreciate it.
I do want people to be able to comment on the articles. But that page doesn’t seem to want to let me display comments. What can I do?

The Articles page *itself* will not display comments, but when you click on an individual post and go to it, like so:
What I Learned About Technical Communication from a Nonagenarian
You will see the comments form at the bottom. :)
Let me know if that answers your questions! Thanks!
