MAKING A COPY OF MY BLOG?
-
Can anyone tell me how I would make a complete copy of all the content I have posted on my blog? I tried the “export” feature under Tools but it only gave me the titles and “tags” and none of the actual blogs.
I have searched the “support” area but the only thing I could find there was to “export”.
Thanks in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can use the export feature. Dashboard > Tools -> Export and download an XML file of your blog’s content.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/Links must be exported separately. Instructions here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/blogroll/import-export-links/

I have used the exporter so many times I cannot even count them and this has never happened to me. I suggest that you try again and if you do not get the file containing posts, pages, comments, custom fields, categories, and tags then you will have to contact Staff. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

@time… Ok I have tried the “export” now 4 different times and all I keep getting is an XML file with the tags and titles. :(
So let me explain what I am after a bit better, maybe that will make a difference.
What I want is to make a complete copy of all the posts I have added to my blog here, NOT to export to a new site but to store on my computer in a file of its own so that if I decided to leave WP (considering it more each day) I will have everything that I posted. I started doing it manually with the C&P to a word doc but that is going to take me forever.
I read the support doc.s here and followed them step by step but with no luck. Is there any way of doing this without using “export”?

I have not tried this but it might help:
this website will make an entire blog into a pdf book for you, it’s free too.
