    Hello,
    I have had 2 other companies build and maintain my website. Neither one performed very well, it was difficult to make changes and they just didn’t look good. I think Word Press has everything I need but I am worried about SEO. Is that a legitimate concern? Do I need another company to run my website?

    It’s a slow process definitely.
    Google and other search engines will include your site in their search results as your site grows and receives more traffic.

    WordPress.com does not have any control over when or how the Search engine includes the content from search results. Content can sometimes take days or weeks to appear in search results depending on the search engine.
