Making a file available for download that's not a media file

  Hi,

  I was hoping to upload a .max authoring file to my site and provide a link for people to download it. What’s the best way to go about doing that? All I can see is “Add Media”, which are image formats.

  No, there are more accepted filetypes:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/accepted-filetypes/

  But that filetype (.max) is not allowed on WordPress.com
