making a fixed widget visible only after specific height

  you can see a paper plane fixed to the buttom left – it’s code placed on a widget in my buttom footer – can I make it visible only after some scrolling?
  I mean from specific height?

  This would require some Javascript or jQuery programming and we cannot use those here at WordPress.com for security reasons.
