MAKING A HOME PAGE
-
I’d like to use the page tabs at the top of my posts to include a “HOME” button to take readers back to the main page including the more recent archives. At the moment, once they click on a post they can only go to other posts or to category groups. I have an INDEX page but that, again, just leads to individual posts. It’s a bit annoying.
thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there,
It appears as if you’ve almost completed the steps to do this. I noticed your custom menu here:
https://onebendintheriver.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php
You just need to click the Create Menu button in the bottom, right-hand side of the page.
That should do the trick! If I can help in any other way, please drop me a line. Cheers :)

Thanks, that’s working really well.
I now get what menus are and I why I want to use them.
I think I’ve also figured out how to get rid of tags from the top of my posts, but will contact you again if I need to.
keep up the good work

Hey there,
I just wanted to drop you a note to say I’m thrilled all is working well for you now. Best of luck with the site :)
Take care.

Thanks
I’m having a great time with my site. Now, instead of boring all my local friends I can bore random strangers from all over the world!

Fiona,
I just had to share your quote with my coworkers:
I’m having a great time with my site. Now, instead of boring all my local friends I can bore random strangers from all over the world!
This made me laugh. A LOT.
Happy blogging! :)
