Making a link more evident….

    Sorry for the title, but it’s hard to describe what I am looking for.

    If you go on my blog, you will see that at the bottom of a recipe there is a clickable link to print it – it directs the reader to a PDF file (by the way, thanks again to Tess for helping me out with that)

    is there a way to enclose that in a cute little box, so that it would be easier for readers to notice it?

    thanks

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    What you can do is to apply a border to that line of text if you wish, and make it any color you want. You would want that line of text to look like this when you are done (in the HTML tab):

    <p style="border:2px solid #FF0000;"><strong>to print the recipe, click <a href="http://bewitchingkitchen.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/racklamb.pdf">here</a>.</strong></p>

    Breaking it down and simplifying it, you would add this before that paragraph (in the HTML tab)

    <p style="border:2px solid #FF0000;">

    and then add this to the end of that paragraph (line of text.

    </p>

    You can change the width of the border by adjusting the “2px” and of course you can use any color you wish by changing the hexadecimal color code – the #FF0000 .

    I was hoping it would be simpler…. :-)

    but I guess I can do that – will try it on my next post

    thank you very much!
