making a piece of the blog post an underlined link to information
-
re; http://sweetrosie.wordpress.com
Can someone please direct me to whre I could learn how to insert a link(?) to example Wikepedia, inside the blog post?
When I see examples of this they are underlined and in a different colour to the rest of the text.
For example, if I was writing about cupcakes, and mentioned vanilla, how could I direct the reader to a site of my choice that further expands on vanilla by way of the reader being able to click on the word “vanilla”?
I hope I have made myself understood, and I appreciate your help. -
There’s an icon in your editor that you use to create the link. What you need to do is select the line of text for the link with your mouse, and then look for an icon that looks like a pair of chains (#10 below). Click that and a new window will appear. All you have to do then is copy the address of the site (ie. Wikipedia) into the link url area. Click insert and you’re done! That should be all there is to it.

Once again, many thanks. This has indeed answered my question. I have some more questions, but will do the right thing and post, not monopolize your time!
